Working With Our Clay County Community

Reproductive Rights

As your State Senator, Maggie will work to restore reproductive freedom for women in Missouri because she knows that difficult medical decisions are best left to women and their doctors.

Public Education

As a teacher and mother, Maggie knows the importance of quality, and accessible public education, and has fought to fully fund Missouri's public schools and support our teachers and students.

Public Safety

Maggie believes that public safety is crucial to building safe communities and has the support of local law enforcement. Maggie is endorsed by first responders, including the local Firefighters union, and supported by law enforcement. Maggie will continue to work with local law enforcement and first responders to ensure they have the resources they need to keep your family safe.

Healthcare

Maggie knows the importance of access to quality and affordable healthcare. While in the Missouri House, Maggie supported the expansion of Medicaid and mental health services. As our next state senator, Maggie will continue to work to make sure all Missourians have access to the care they need.

Economy

As a fourth generation union member, Maggie Nurrenbern will always be a champion for working families. Maggie will continue to protect Missourians’ right to organize. She supports increasing the minimum wage to $15 per hour and requiring employers to provide paid sick leave so that all Missourians can prosper.

"State Representative Maggie Nurrenbern's experience as a dedicated community volunteer and proven record of working with both parties to bring home meaningful investments in Clay County has been vital for improving our infrastructure and helping small businesses. I'm confident Maggie will continue to deliver real results in the State Senate and I'm proud to have her back.”

- Jon Carpenter, Clay County Commissioner
